  14.    I have a problem with a 2gig HD, IBM Model# 0664, that ran perfectly
  15. under OS 2.1 on my A3000, but now locks the system up under OS 3.1.  I've
  16. tried this same drive on another A3000 with the same result, though I know
  17. the drive functions perfectly since I've also plugged it up to a PC.  Each
  18. time of the A3000, I've used the external SCSI port, and as soon as I scan
  19. the SCSI bus for it, the system just hangs.  It never caused a problem under
  20. OS 2.1 though, even with the Rev. 04 SCSI chip.  I've tried both it, and the
  21. Rev. 08 chip under OS 3.1, with the same result.  It's been suggested there
  22. might be an incompatibility with the drive and the SCSI.DEVICE (ver. 40.12).
  23.  Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do to get this drive back
